The SaS Třinec company completed the construction of a cycle path in autumn 2025, connecting the center of Trojanovice with the summit of Pindula saddle. The project was implemented in 2024 and 2025, with total costs exceeding 100 million crowns.
The route consists of three new sections with a total length of over 4 kilometers. The first two sections, referred to as Solárka, run parallel to the district road and measure 2.6 kilometers in total. The final section climbs to Pindula saddle over a length exceeding 1.5 kilometers.
The construction included a number of technically demanding elements: reinforced concrete retaining walls, prefabricated support walls across deep ravines, complex terrain drainage, and the construction of a new steel pipe culvert (tubosider) under Pindula. The original bridge over Radhošťský stream was fitted with new railings.
Work proceeded under challenging conditions, in autumn and winter, with heavy rains in 2025 requiring changes to construction procedures.
The project also includes two architecturally interesting structures: a rest area by the Lubina water reservoir and a bus stop at Pindula. The cycle path runs mainly through the cadastral territory of Trojanovice, and partially through the territory of Frenštát pod Radhoštěm.
